2025 Nissan Z Keeps The Same Price, Adds Bayside Blue Color

  • The latest Z can also be ordered in Solid Red with a Super Black roof.
  • Prices start at $42,970 and top out at $65,750 for the flagship Nismo.
  • No mechanical changes have been made to the 2025 Z range.

The Nissan Z is entering the 2025 model year mostly unchanged. However, Nissan enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that it is now available in Bayside Blue, a color made iconic by the R34 Skyline GT-R, helping to make the Z pop even more. Surprisingly, prices have gone unchanged from the 2024 model, which is quite unusual as new car prices often rise gradually each year.

Nissan has already offered Bayside Blue for the Z in its home market of Japan, but it’s only now come to the US. It replaces the Seiran Blue that had previously been available locally. If we were shopping for a 2025 Z, we’d opt for Bayside Blue in a heartbeat, but for those who aren’t that fond of it, there are other options available. These include Black Diamond Pearl, Gun Metallic, Rosewood Metallic, Brilliant Silver with Super Black, and Stealth Gray with Super Black.

Nissan has also added two new two-tone options, Pearl White Tricoat with a Super Black roof and Solid Red with a Super Black roof.

Beyond the changes made to the color palette, the 2025 Nissan Z is identical to last year’s model. That means all standard versions are powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 delivering 400 hp at 6,400 rpm and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque between 1,600 rpm and 5,600 rpm.

The Z range starts with the Sport, which can be configured with a nine-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual. Regardless of which gearbox a customer chooses, the price remains the same. For the Sport, that’s $42,970, excluding a $1,140 destination and handling charge.

Those willing to splash an extra $10,000 can get the Z Performance in auto and manual guises, both starting at $52,970. This version adds a limited-slip differential, 19-inch RAYS forged wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, upgraded brakes, heated side mirrors, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, and leather seats.

The 2025 Z range continues to be topped out by the Nismo. It is priced from $65,750, its tweaked V6 delivers 420 hp and 384 lb-ft (520 Nm), and is sold exclusively with the nine-speed automatic transmission.
